Who are we?
The Wynyard Aesthetics Academy LLP is an independent education, professional development and training provider for the beauty and aesthetics industry. We are a group of qualified and experienced professionals who strive to be better and different in the way in which we educate, train and develop individuals who deliver beauty and aesthetics services, to enable them to be the very best that they can be.
Our trainers and lecturers are drawn from a specific range of backgrounds in the field of beauty, aesthetics, dentistry, medicine, laser technology and business.
Our programmes are based on a modular approach, enabling students to access specific modules in the following areas:
- Laser and Light – Core of Knowledge, Hair Removal, Skin Rejuvenation, and Tattoo removal.
- Medical Needling, Mesotherapy, Chemical Peels.
- Anatomy & Physiology, Blood Bourne Pathogens.
- Injectables for Botulinum Toxin and Dermal Fillers. (NB this programme is for medics only)
This unique approach is coupled with one of our partners educated to MSc level in Human Resource Development (MSc HRD) and who has a 30 year background in education and professional development which gives us a unique edge in ensuring that our training meets education and professional development requirements that are fit for the modern 21st century beauty and aesthetics practitioner and environment.
Our programme modules are accredited through The CPD Accreditation Group and the programme modules are available at Level 4 through to Level 7 with full sets of learning outcomes and evidence and assessment criteria. Programme modules have been accredited through an external approval process and have been written and mapped against the Quality Credit Framework (QCF).
Additionally, all programme modules have been incorporated into a new and exciting MSc (Clin) Specialist Practice Clinical Non Surgical Interventions and a BSc Cosmetology with a UK university and will be available from January 2019.
Partnerships
We also recognise that we need to work in partnership with others for some of our provision and we have established working partnerships with a range of professionals who delivered bespoke and specific aesthetics services within the industry, enabling our clients to access a range of training provision in one place.
